Warehouse Inventory Removal

Commercial Warehouse Inventory Removal Across Southern California

Rack space is expensive and dead inventory does not pay rent. Total Product Disposal clears obsolete, aged and unsellable stock out of warehouses, distribution centers and 3PL facilities throughout Los Angeles and Southern California — by the pallet or by the trailer.

What warehouse inventory removal means

Warehouse inventory removal is the bulk pickup and disposal of commercial stock that a facility no longer intends to sell or ship. It is usually a space problem before it is a disposal problem: aged pallets creep into the back aisles, a discontinued line takes up two racks, a client walks away from stored goods, or a lease ends and the building has to be handed over empty.

Unlike a single-pallet pickup, these projects are logistics jobs. They involve door scheduling, forklift coordination, staging plans and sometimes multiple trailers over several days. We plan the removal around a working building rather than shutting it down.

Facilities that use this service

  • Distribution centers recovering rack space
  • Third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses
  • Public and contract storage facilities
  • Manufacturers consolidating plants
  • Importers clearing container overflow
  • Retail DCs after a seasonal reset
  • Cold storage facilities cycling out aged stock
  • Companies vacating a leased building

What we remove from warehouses

Obsolete and discontinued SKUs, aged and expired stock, excess and overstock inventory, abandoned client goods, mixed-SKU return pallets, damaged and unsellable product, old packaging, labels and point-of-sale materials, drums and IBC totes of unused raw material, and full-pallet finished goods from every category we handle. Acceptance depends on what the material is and how it is classified, which we confirm from your description, photographs and any SDS or spec sheet before scheduling.

How a warehouse removal runs

1. Scope the volume

Send pallet counts by category, approximate weight, the building address and photographs down the aisle. A rough inventory list is ideal but not required.

2. Plan the dock

We confirm dock hours, door availability, trailer access, forklift support and who stages the material — then quote against that plan, not a guess.

3. Execute in waves

Large projects run as scheduled trailer loads so your operation keeps running. Small projects are usually a single pickup, often within 24 hours.

4. Close out

Where applicable, we can supply photographs, counts, weight information and disposal or destruction documentation for your records.

Why warehouses call us

Because we speak dock. We ask about door counts and staging before we talk price, we size trucks to the actual load, and we do not disappear halfway through a multi-day cleanout. We are commercial-only — no residential junk hauling — so the schedule is built around receiving windows and forklift availability.

Service area

We cover the major Southern California warehouse corridors: Vernon, Commerce, City of Industry, Santa Fe Springs, Carson, Long Beach and the Valencia and San Fernando Valley areas in Los Angeles County, plus Orange County, the Inland Empire and Ventura County.

Questions

Warehouse Inventory Removal FAQs

Answers depend in part on the material and how it is classified. When a definitive answer requires review, we say so and confirm after we see the product details.

How large a warehouse cleanout can you handle?

+

Projects range from a dozen pallets in one aisle to repeating full truckloads over several days. Volume is a scheduling and equipment question, not a limit — send the pallet count and we will size the job.

Can you work around our receiving and shipping hours?

+

Yes. Most warehouse removals are scheduled into a quiet dock window, early morning or after the outbound wave. Tell us your dock hours, door availability and any check-in or safety requirements.

Do you provide labor to break down and stage the inventory?

+

Staging expectations are set in the quote. Many facilities stage the pallets themselves with their own forklift, which is the fastest and least expensive option. If your team cannot stage the material, tell us up front so the crew and equipment are quoted accordingly.

Can you remove inventory from a 3PL or leased space we do not operate?

+

Yes, provided we have the site address, dock hours, a site contact and written authorization from whoever controls the space. We coordinate with public warehouse and 3PL contacts regularly.

We are moving out and need the space empty by a deadline. Can you meet it?

+

Deadline-driven cleanouts are common — lease expirations, facility consolidations and end-of-quarter space recovery. Give us the date with your quote request and we will confirm whether it is achievable before you commit.
