What recalled product disposal involves
A recall turns ordinary inventory into material that must be tracked, contained and removed from commerce. Recalled product disposal is the removal of that inventory from your facility and its disposal or destruction in a way that keeps it from re-entering the marketplace — with enough record-keeping that your quality, legal or brand team can account for the quantity.
Two things separate a recall from a routine pickup: the clock and the paperwork. We plan both up front. Before anything moves, we agree on the count, the handling approach and exactly what records will accompany the project.
Recall situations we support
- Voluntary manufacturer recalls
- Supplier-initiated ingredient withdrawals
- Retail-level stock withdrawals
- Mislabeled or undeclared-allergen product
- Failed QA or stability results
- Packaging and coding errors
- Contaminated or suspect lots
- Product returned from distribution after a hold
How a recall project is handled
1. Intake and scope
You describe the product, lots, quantity, packaging and every location holding affected stock, along with your deadline and documentation requirements.
2. Plan and quote
We confirm what can be accepted, the destruction or disposal approach, the records that can be supplied, and the pickup schedule across each site.
3. Controlled removal
Material is counted at pickup and staged so recalled stock stays segregated from saleable inventory in your building.
4. Records
Photographs, counts, weight information, disposal documentation and a Certificate of Destruction where applicable are provided for your recall file.
Industries we work with on recalls
Food and beverage manufacturers, ingredient suppliers and co-packers, supplement and personal-care brands, consumer product companies, importers, distributors and the warehouses and 3PLs holding their inventory. Every project is commercial; we do not collect recalled product from consumers.
Service area
Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County and Ventura County, including the Vernon, Commerce, City of Industry and Inland Empire warehouse corridors.

Questions
Recalled Product Disposal FAQs
Answers depend in part on the material and how it is classified. When a definitive answer requires review, we say so and confirm after we see the product details.
How quickly can recalled product be picked up?
+
Recalls are treated as time-sensitive. Once we have the product details, quantity, location and any documentation requirements, we schedule as early as the material and volume allow — often within 24 hours for straightforward palletized loads in Los Angeles.
Can you make sure recalled product does not re-enter the market?
+
That is the point of the service. Recalled inventory is handled as material to be destroyed or disposed of rather than diverted, and we can coordinate a destruction approach appropriate to the product so it cannot be resold or repackaged.
What documentation can you provide?
+
Documentation depends on the service performed and downstream records, and can include photographs, inventory counts, weight tickets where available, disposal or receiving documentation, and a Certificate of Destruction where applicable. Tell us what your quality or legal team requires before pickup is scheduled.
Do you handle recalls across multiple locations?
+
Yes. Multi-site recalls — several warehouses, retail back rooms or 3PL locations — are coordinated as one project with a single point of contact and consolidated records.
What information do you need to quote a recall project?
+
Product description, lot or SKU information if you have it, quantity and packaging, each pickup location, the reason for the recall, your documentation requirements and your deadline.
